The right services, at the right time, in the right place

Welcome to Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario is an initiative that aims to bring the right services to youth and their families at the right time and in the right place. It is a network of 14 “hubs” across the province dedicated to serving youth when they need it most.

In February 2017, the Ontario government announced funding for integrated service hubs across the province to address gaps in the youth service system. Ten hubs are now being established to serve as fully integrated “one-stop-shops” for youth aged 12-25, to address their needs related to mental health, substance use, primary care, education, employment, training, housing and other community and social services. These hubs will also include peer services, outreach, and system navigation services. Services will emphasize quality and will be timely, integrated and co-located.

The hubs that are already offering services are:

Chatham-Kent     |     Central Toronto     |     Toronto East    |    Scarborough     |     Eastern Champlain, Rockland     |     Eastern Champlain, Cornwall     |     Haliburton County     |     Kenora     |     Niagara Region     |     North Simcoe|    Malton

59% of Ontario students said they felt depressed about the future.*
We can change this. By working cross-generationally, allowing youth to take leadership, we can transform the systems young people need for a better future. #InternationalYouthDay

The Malton Hub ensures local youth are fully engaged in leading activities: youth advisories meetings, workshops, physical activities, education/career clubs, art exhibits, empowerment groups, cooking classes, and more. We empower youth to create change and do incredible things.

Every young person has unique needs. Exclusion from healthcare planning experienced by youth and families can be challenged through youth engagement. Youth advisories create transformational change by ensuring that we are meeting the needs of the communities we serve. #IYD2022
