Windsor-Essex Youth Wellness Hub

Welcome to the Youth Wellness Hub Windsor-Essex!

The Youth Wellness Hub Windsor-Essex offers free support services to youth ages 12 to 25 and their families without a waitlist or referral. This integrated model of care allows for a multitude of services all under one roof in a youth-friendly space.

The team understands the impacts that the pandemic has had on youth. The goal is to fill service gaps in the community to address these relevant challenges.

Windsor-Essex County is recognized as one of the most culturally diverse communities in Canada. The site proudly offers newcomer youth a safe place to meet new friends and engage in an assortment of activities and community supports.

Get to know the Windsor-Essex Hub

When a youth or family member enters the Windsor-Essex Youth Wellness Hub, they are always greeted by a friendly face. The Intake Clerk will help guide the way to the proper services and people to ensure a smooth and low stress experience. The goal is to provide young people and their families with the right services in the right place at the right time.

The Windsor-Essex Hub does not have a wait list for services and is drop-in based for ease of use. The team recognizes the need to support transitional-aged youth within the community and has developed programs to support youth as they age out of other services.

The team has co-developed programs and groups with youth that cater to the current needs of the community. The “Queer Self-Care Group”, “Self Love Positive Self Love Club”, and “Kick That Habit Club” are just a few examples of how the Hub is supporting the need for more substance use and suicide intervention supports in the community.
